Shibuya’s Parco was always the go-to gallery for urban art…”Tokyo First” with KAWS, “Point Of Purchase” with TWIST, ESPO, and REAS, “Where Is Silas?”, and “Paintura Pitch Project” just to name a few.  So when we met awhile back to discuss ways to build upon their  foundation of creativity, it turned out the advent of small gallery art dealers sadly killed off the gallery operations at Parco.  In its place is an event rental space called Parco Factory, which heads back to its roots this month with David Choe and James Jean’s LA Secret Studio, presented by Good Smile Co. and Upper Playground.
